TB500

Price range: $97.00 through $147.00

TB-500 is primarily chosen for recovery and tissue repair, based on thymosin beta-4, a naturally occurring peptide involved in the body’s response to injury. It helps repair cells move into damaged areas and supports new blood vessel formation, processes important for rebuilding and recovering tissue.

Key Benefits

  • Supports injury recovery
  • Promotes tissue repair
  • Helps manage inflammation

What is TB-500?

TB-500 is a synthetic peptide based on part of thymosin beta-4 (Tβ4), a naturally occurring peptide involved in the body’s repair response. Its main appeal is recovery: thymosin beta-4 research suggests it can help repair cells move where they are needed, encourage new blood vessel formation and help organise the tissue rebuilding process after injury.

Why TB-500?

Tissue Recovery

Its biggest draw is supporting the biological processes involved in repairing damaged tissue, making recovery the main reason people are interested in TB-500.

Tendon & Ligament Repair

Animal research has found improved tendon and ligament healing, including better tissue organisation and stronger repaired tissue in biomechanical testing.

Multi-Step Repair

Rather than targeting one part of recovery, thymosin beta-4 influences cell movement, blood-vessel formation, collagen organisation and inflammation during tissue repair.

Who is TB-500 Popular With?

TB-500 is particularly popular with gym-goers and athletes interested in recovery from training-related injuries or damaged soft tissue. Tendons and ligaments are a major area of interest because recent TB-500 research has specifically investigated tendon repair, while broader thymosin beta-4 research has examined wound and tissue healing.

Research & Evidence

Human research on thymosin beta-4 has produced encouraging findings for wound repair, but direct human evidence for TB-500 in sports injuries, tendons and ligaments remains limited. The most relevant evidence for those uses currently comes from animal studies, including a new 2026 study specifically investigating TB-500 in Achilles tendon repair.

2026 — Stronger Achilles Tendon Repair in Rats

A 2026 rat study found TB-500 improved the structure and organisation of healing Achilles tendons and produced a statistically significant increase in the maximum force the repaired tendons could withstand before failure. Researchers also observed better collagen organisation, suggesting the healing tissue was progressing towards a more mature structure. These are promising findings for tendon repair, but they have not yet been demonstrated in human tendon injuries.

Human Research — Faster Wound Healing

Human clinical research provides evidence that thymosin beta-4 can influence tissue repair. In Phase 2 studies of chronic wounds, thymosin beta-4 accelerated healing in patients whose wounds healed, with research reporting healing almost a month sooner. This does not prove the same effect for muscle or tendon injuries, but it provides human evidence that the underlying repair pathway can translate beyond animal models.

    Had a tricep repaired, bone spur and scar tissue removed and my tricep tendon anchored back down with screws about 18 days ago. I lifted weights yesterday and was back to work in 13 days. Of course it was light weight but I was able to. TB-500 really does work!!

    So I got 2 vials of tb500 and deff felt some benefits using it for a few weeks so gtg in my opinion.

  3. Ghxste

    I gave TB-500 a crack to help bounce back from some tendon dramas, and it really came through. After about a week, things started feeling heaps better—less tight, more movement, and just felt like the healing kicked up a gear. No side effects either, which is always good news. I stacked it with BPC-157 and that combo worked a treat, especially for my tennis elbow. if you’re active and your body cops a bit of a beating, TB-500’s definitely worth having on hand. I’ll be keeping i vial in the fridge at all times from now on.

  4. Johnnie Alexander

    TB 500 works. Does take about 3-4 weeks to kick in IMO. But it does help heal you up. Also the performance bonus has been fantastic. Something I kind of hoped would happen but didn’t expect as I haven’t heard of any other people talking about any other performance enhancement with this. Even the literature supporting TB 500 says increased endurance and muscle strength.

What is TB-500?
</summary>
<p style=”margin:0;padding:0 0 18px”>
TB-500 is a synthetic peptide related to thymosin beta-4, a naturally occurring peptide involved in tissue repair. It is primarily researched and used for recovery, particularly where tendons, ligaments and other soft tissues are involved.

How does TB-500 work?
</summary>
<p style=”margin:0;padding:0 0 18px”>
Research around thymosin beta-4 suggests it helps repair cells move towards damaged areas and supports the formation of new blood vessels. In practical terms, these processes help bring the cells, oxygen and nutrients needed to damaged tissue while helping organise the rebuilding process.

<!– QUESTION 3 –>

Is TB-500 useful for tendon and ligament recovery?
</summary>
<p style=”margin:0;padding:0 0 18px”>
Tendon and ligament recovery is one of the main reasons TB-500 is of interest. Animal research has reported improved tendon healing, collagen organisation and strength of repaired tissue. A 2026 rat study of Achilles tendon injuries found repaired tendons treated with TB-500 could withstand greater force before failure. These effects have not yet been established in human tendon trials.

What is the difference between TB-500 and BPC-157?
</summary>
<p style=”margin:0;padding:0 0 18px”>
Both are popular for recovery, but they are different peptides with different research behind them. BPC-157 research has focused heavily on tendon, ligament, muscle and gastrointestinal tissue, while TB-500 is related to thymosin beta-4 and is studied for processes such as repair-cell movement, blood-vessel formation and tissue organisation. Neither has been proven superior to the other in human injury trials.

Is TB-500 only for tendons?
</summary>
<p style=”margin:0;padding:0 0 18px”>
No. Tendon recovery gets considerable attention, but thymosin beta-4 has been investigated across a much broader range of tissue-repair models. Research has examined wound healing, blood-vessel formation and repair processes in several different tissues, which is why TB-500 is generally discussed as a broader recovery peptide rather than a tendon-only product.

<!– QUESTION 6 –>

<summary style=”cursor:pointer;font-weight:700;font-size:17px;padding:17px 0″>
What side effects have been reported with TB-500?
</summary>
<p style=”margin:0;padding:0 0 18px”>
There is not enough controlled human research on TB-500 itself to establish a reliable side-effect profile. Human studies of the related full-length thymosin beta-4 provide some safety information, but those findings should not automatically be assumed to apply to TB-500.
